The Upstack holiday procedure ensures that anyone involved in the project, be they the stakeholders or your teammates, are swiftly made aware of any upcoming holidays that any Upstack team member might have.
- At the start of the project, all team members are required to state any booked, upcoming, holidays. This will ensure that the project starts from with the right foundations and timelines can be adjusted accordingly.
- During a project the minimum holiday notice period is two weeks, the reasoning being the same as previously mentioned.
- Holidays have to be approved by both Upstack and the client.
As Upstack team members are self-employed, their holidays are unpaid, creating no payment obligation from the client for the duration of any team members holiday.
